The engine block leak test machine(leaking test) is one of the important inspection machines in the production and assembly line of automobiles and motorcycles. For vehicles using internal combustion engines such as cars, motorcycles, engines are considered their hearts. An internal combustion engine is a thermal engine that burns the fuel in the combustion chamber to derive work from the pressure of the expanding gas.

The engine's air tightness requirement is therefore of particular concern. A good engine ensures maximum power efficiency according to design, saves fuel and ensures safety for users. The engine tightness tester helps to check the engine's tightness, making sure the engine is built without any air leaks to the outside.

Design of automobile engine gas leak tester

Engine leak test machine is structured including:

• Trolley for Jig with 3 positions for jig, with wheels to move
• Product inspection jig, clamping mechanism for flexible operation with 2 automatic and manual running modes. Ability to check 3 positions at a time.
• Stainless steel engine tank with capacity of 0.5m3 with bottom valve and moving wheels
• Lights
• The roller conveyor puts the jig waiting for engine storage test (before the immersion tank) and the jig contains the checked motor (after the immersion tank)
• Air source control panel connects pressure air cylinders up to 20Bar using fast connectors that test High pressure oils chamber / Low pressure oils chamber and Coolant jacket

Steps to check engine air leakage

Step 1 - Put the product into the jig using the external power jig (automatic jig)

Step 2 - place the top cover on the product (automatic jig)

Step 3 - connecting sources, air supply (automatic jig)

Or with manual mode

Step 1 - put the product into jig (manual jig)

Step 2 - put the top cover on the product (jig by hand)

Step 3 - clamp the sealing positions and connect the gas source (jig by hand)

Step 4 - jig and product are dropped into the water tank

Step 5 - rotate the jig by hand and visual test for air bubbles

Step 6 - Lift and transfer the tested product onto the conveyor on the back of the box and label the process. Continue to drop products into the jig and barrel, supply new products from the trolley Jig to the waiting table.
